Bach Flower Remedies

How are Bach Flower Remedies Produced?

Edward Bach is best known for his Bach flower remedies that are still used in today's time. The story of how Bach found this remedy is one that has intrigued and entertained fellow doctors interested in homeopath for years, and for those patients that are wanting something that is all natural in order to heal their ailments, it has produced a lot of interest. One spring and summer after Bach was certain that there had to be a more natural way to end the ailments and illnesses that got people down, he started collecting a wide range of flowers across the country. From there, he studies these flowers to find their healing properties. The way in which he did this is one that is still considered to be a bit controversial. He would place his hand over a flower and record his observations. For example, if he had headaches and the flower seemed to relieve the headache, then he would conclude that it was the property of the flower that did this for him. To some, this may seem a bit irrelevant and hard to judge as scientific fact, however, there has been those that have tried the Bach flowers and got amazing results, which is something to keep in mind.

But just how did Bach bottle the properties of the flowers in order to pass their healing benefits on to others? Bach discovered that the healing benefits were being transferred to the dew that fell onto the flowers. Through some experimentation he concluded that it was nearly impossible to catch the dew and even when he did he found that he did not get much from it in order to give to others in order to heal them. Thus, he came up with his own method of storing and preserving the healing power of these flowers himself. He took a bit of brandy and some spring water, then allowed the flower to soak in the water and brandy mixture, with the sun hitting it. In his line of reasoning the sun was allowing for the flower to put those healing properties into the water that the person could then take as their cure.

These remedies are still in use today, and can be purchased through homeopath stores. The person is going to find that the liquids are meant to be taken with water or simply pressed under the tongue or onto the skin in order to get the healing properties. The person is going to find that they are going to see results within a few days or at least that is what has been reported in the past by those that have taken these remedies. Overall, the way in which the Bach remedies are made are something that is going to strike many people as odd, however, there are studies that show that the person benefits from it when they are taking this properly. Therefore, no matter how far-fetched it may seem to try this out, the person may find that this is the best remedy that they can find anywhere.
